NetBank

Posted on January 19th, 2008 in FDIC FAILED BANKS

FDIC’s entry on NetBank.

NetBank imploded due to the collapse of subprime-linked money market funds.  It was one of the early entities to get hit — before the credit crunch had visibly spread to other areas.   NetBank’s deposits were taken over by ING.

NetBank also had its own mortgage activities, which you can read more about at the Mortgage Lender Implode-o-Meter.
